 Pick Your Own Flowers at Little Lifestyle Flower Farm

Come fill a vase with seasonal blooms straight from our field. This is a hands-on, pick-your-own experience for ages 12 and up. Multiple dates available, new dates will keep being added.

The Details:

• Cost: $55 per person. Includes 25 stems of your choice, a metal pail to use while picking, and sanitised snips. Your flowers will be tied for you when you leave, and pail and snips returned.

• Bring A Friend: You may bring one friend with you on your paid ticket. This means you could go halves on a ticket, but you both still pick only 25 stems together. I hope this can make it a bit more accessible for everyone :) You get one pail to pick into for you both.
  
  

• For Ages 12+: Each person picking flowers must have a ticket. A 12+ year old can either have their own ticket for their own 25 stems, or share a parent's ticket – but the total stem count per ticket remains 25.
  

• Note: To ensure everyone's safety in our small, working flower field with sharp tools and uneven ground, we cannot accommodate children under 12. Prams are welcome, but babies and toddlers must remain securely strapped in at all times. I hope to be holding kids & parents workshops specifically for kids under 12 :)

How It Works:

1. Arrive, check in, and grab your pail and snips.

2. We'll give a quick, essential demo on where and how to cut your stems for healthy plants and long-lasting flowers. There will be a quick educational discussion on the importance of sanitising your snips between dahlia plants to prevent virus spread. You won't need to do this on other plants – just the dahlias. I supply isopropyl wipes.

3. You’re free to slowly explore the rows and fill your pail with 25 stems of your choice – take a mix from the field or just choose all zinnias or all dahlias!

4. Bring your haul back when you're done and we'll get them ready for you to take home

5. If you'd like to buy more than the 25 flowers allotted, it is just $2 extra per stem, payable by cash or bank deposit upon leaving

What You Need to Know:

• Wear: Sturdy shoes. Go slow – the ground can be uneven in places under the matting and there are some irrigation pipes running across paths pinned down. If it's raining it may be slippery.

• Weather: We go ahead rain or shine. Please dress for the forecast. Postponement will only happen if a severe weather event happens.

• Bees & Pollen: We have lots of happy pollinators. Please take necessary precautions if you have allergies.

• Tickets: You may bring 1 friend along on your ticket. No random show-ups on the day – you must have a ticket to enter. All sales are final. If you can't make it, you may pass your ticket to someone else, but no refund will be offered.
