FAQs

I hope to answer most of your questions here. If I've missed something, please head over to the contact page and fill out the form and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

  1. Can I come pick my own flowers? Yes, starting January hopefully! However, these are limited number, ticketed events which you can buy tickets for on our website when available. The plants need a break between heavy pickings, and sometimes weather interferes, so PYO days won't be scheduled. Rather, I will be announcing PYO days on my Instagram and Facebook pages, and via my mailing list as soon as I know when a day is available. Make sure you follow or sign up to be notified first!

  2. Can I bring a friend to tag along on a ticketed PYO day? Yes. When you purchase your PYO ticket, you have the option of bringing a friend along just to spectate for $5 entry. You can buy this ticket online when you buy your own, or pay in cash on the day at the gate. Your friend can help you pick your flowers, or just wander and enjoy the blooms and take photos. However, the total amount of flowers must still be for one ticket.

  3. Do you do DIY event buckets? Yes! I have two options for DIY Bloom Buckets, which I pick for you to your chosen colour theme – these are great for bridal showers, baby showers, small weddings and other events. Head to our DIY Bloom Buckets page to see types and prices. Book at least 2 weeks before your event. These are subject to availability.

  4. Can I get my wedding flowers from you? Yes! However it is in the form of a Wedding Flower Private Pick package and is subject to availability. Check it out here.

  5. Can I just buy regular bunches of cut flowers? Yes! I call these Market Bunches, and you can order these within a day or two of when you need them. View the price list for market bunches here.

  6. Do you make ready-made bouquets with floral wrap and gift cards? Yes. Head to my market bunches page where flowers are priced per stem or via a flat rate, and floral wrap + gift card is an add on.

  7. Can I hold a group event there? We are able to hold some select group events here, with plenty of notice in advance, such as corporate groups, hen dos or birthdays. This means we close off the farm so that only your group is here. This is priced at $80 per person (price TBC with minimum 8 people) for 2hrs. You will be able to pick 25 stems each, of any variety. I have tables available where you can arrange your picked flowers into your own bouquets. Wrap and string will be supplied as well, so you can leave with your own beautiful bouquets.

  8. Is your flower farm child friendly? Yes! Kids accompanying adults who have purchased a PYO ticket on a Kid & Family Friendly Day can attend for free, however only adults or teenagers may harvest flowers. We supply sharp snips to you for picking. As soon as the snips are handed off to the adult, these are for adult-use only or for adult supervision only. If kids 12 and up would like to pick alongside you, we would expect that they comply with rules, and listen to picking instructions upon arrival to ensure their safety. We also require parents/guardians to supervise/monitor children at all times to allow others to enjoy their picking experience as well. Please note any short stems plucked off by unsupervised kids will be considered part of your 25 stems. You can still pop them in a bud vase at home. Thank you for your understanding!

  9. Is the flower farm wheelchair or pram accessible? To the best of my ability, I have made it as accessible as possible. The flat paths are lined with commercial weed matting, and drip line pipe that crosses some of the paths will be taped down to prevent tripping hazards. However, this is still a working flower field, so please call ahead if you're concerned. Rows are 1m wide. We will have a portaloo available, however it is not disability friendly.

  10. Do you supply wholesale to florists? I can supply florists with Bloom Buckets, at a discounted price. Please contact me for information. Flowers must be ordered in advance and stems do not come stripped or prepped, but are picked directly into water buckets. Flowers must be picked up – no delivery available unless by special request and will be charged at an agreed upon fee. Please bring your own buckets to collect cut stems.

  11. Can I hold a photo shoot at the field? Yes! I hire the field out for private photo shoots, you can find the field hire fees here.
