Flowers We're Growing

Here's a full list of the types of flowers we're growing this year.

Dahlias

With around 1000 plants and hundreds of varieties, from mini poms and standard balls to formal decoratives and big dinnerplates, you'll love the dahlia collection.

Zinnias

A super popular and cheerful flower that has an excellent vase life and comes in a multitude of forms and colours. Most of my zinnias this year are open-pollinated from local flower farmers, but there are some Benary Giants in there as well.

Cosmos

Pretty, fluttery, delicate and sweet, cosmos is a firm favourite of mine. I have several varieties in the field this year, from white, soft pink, dark pink, apricot and yellow.

Strawflowers

These bright, papery flowers feel dry to the touch – which makes them fantastic to dry out. Tie them in a bunch and hang them upside down so their stems dry straight!

Snapdragons

One of my personal favourites, this spiky bloom comes in several styles, this year I'll have Madame Butterfly, Rocket Mix and F1 Hybrids – they're tall and floaty and fabulous.

Feverfew

The perfect bouquet filler, I'm growing a few different feverfew varieties this year, some white and dainty, some lime tinted and some like tight petalled balls. Keep an eye out!

Celosia

A bright, fluffy and spiky flower, this makes a wonderful addition to any bouquet to add texture and height. Celosia is a hardy plant that loves the sun and is easy to grow.

Amaranth

I'm growing a few varieties, the photo shown is Coral Fountain, which is a weeping amaranth. I'm also growing the green version, plus spiked versions. Amazing to add depth to your bouquet and adds drapery.

Queen Anne's Lace

An excellent, very delicate filler flower that has a good vase life. The perfect addition to any sweet bouquet you're planning, with its soft dainty, disc-like blooms.
